The creators of the sci-fi series «Severance» have shown a new trailer for the second season.
The two-minute video reveals the fate of the main characters — Mark, Hallie, Irving, and Dylan, who have preserved memories of their adventures outside the office. Lumon Industries unexpectedly presents them as heroes, although Milchik continues to monitor their every move closely.
Particular attention was drawn to the episode at the 2:12 mark, where a mysterious figure played by Olafur Olafsson stands on an artificial hill in the Lumon offices. The character, dressed in dark clothes with a headdress resembling horns, is surrounded by goats.
The appearance of goats in the series is no coincidence — viewers have already seen them in the first season, when Mark and Hallie stumbled upon a room with goats. One of the Reddit users suggests: «The goats may be part of an animal experiment. Or their cells are used for biocompatible brain modification».
Another fan of the series emphasizes the cult-like nature of Lumon: «We saw the ritualistic costumes at the waffle party and the strange elements on Petey’s map. All this points to the religious nature of the organization».
Severance will premiere on January 17, 2025 on Apple TV+.
