«Thank you, I hate it»: Minecraft’s final trailer is a mixture of laughter and disgust

It all starts innocently — peaceful pandas, a classic water trick, an incredibly rare game item of the elite wings… But then the real absurdity begins. Jason Momoa, one of the main characters, finds himself in a ring surrounded by pillager, and his opponent is just a chicken. Or so it seems, until a tiny but deadly zombie falls out of the box. Anyone who has played Minecraft knows that these little guys are a real nightmare.

The audience was first introduced to the antagonist Malgosha (voiced by Rachel House), the leader of the piglins from the Lower World. In the trailer, the place looks like a place where the words «joy» and «creativity» have never been heard. At one point, Malgosha sees a little piglin drawing something… and without a second thought, she kills him. Only a piece of fried meat remains on the screen. Viewers in the comments have already called this scene «madness».

In the last scene, a villager who has somehow made it to the real world is hit by a car. The actress Jennifer Coolidge runs out of the car saying that she’s been in an accident again, and then adds: «Are you okay? You have a huge head». Commentators joked that this was «the most realistic response to the villagers».

In the story, four characters played by Jason Momoa, Daniel Brooks, Emma Myers, and Sebastian Eugene Hansen got into Minecraft. There they met a local resident, Steve (Jack Black), who knows all the secrets of this world. To return home, they must survive and confront zombies, skeletons, explosive creepers, and creatures of the Underworld that have broken out to the surface. The film resembles the plot of «Jumanji», when a couple of adults and a couple of teenagers got into a game world with a clear division between evil and good.
