The fourth season of «The Witcher» will feature five new actors

Many of the «Witcher» actors have already completed filming for the fourth season, but some were still unknown.

The filming of the fourth season of «The Witcher» started in mid-April and is close to the finish line. Liam Hemsworth, Freya Allan and Anja Chalotra have filmed the vast majority of their scenes, and many supporting actors have already announced that they have also completed filming. Nevertheless, some of the casting is still unknown — except for the five new actors who will join season 4.

Reece Alexander-Putinas — British actor with experience in the film and television industry. Putinas is known for his role in the Potter film «Fantastic Beasts» and his roles in the TV series «Hookers», «I Am Murderer» and others. In the fourth season of «The Witcher», Putinas will play Commander Vascoigne. In the books, he was the commandant of the Redan intelligence prison Drakenborg. Putinas will appear in an episode directed by Alex Garcia Lopez — in the fifth, sixth or both.

Joelle Rae — a young actress known for her role in the series «Settle the Score» and others, as well as in the movie «Gallery».In the fourth season of «The Witcher», Rei will play the role of an elf. Nothing else is known about the character. While some fans say that Rey could be the sorceress of the Lodge, Ida Emen, it is more likely that Rey will play another small supporting role. Rey has archery skills that will likely come in handy.

Grahame Fox — an accomplished Welsh actor with thirty years of experience in film, television, and gaming. Fox has appeared in such films as «Mission Impossible: Fallout», «Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum of Solace», «The Eternals», as well as in shows such as «Settle the Score», «The Victim», and «Game of Thrones», where he played Ralph Canning. The role is not exactly known, but Fox was present at the filming near Lake Padarn in Wales. The scenes filmed there were related to the battle on the bridge.

Luisa Guerreiro — physical comedy, movement and musical theater actress, puppeteer, creature actor. On television, she has experience in such series as «Discovery of Witches» and «Purgatory». She also contributed to the creation of games — Baldur’s Gate III, A Plague Tale: Requiem, Disco Elysium, etc. Guerreiro’s role is unknown, but it’s quite possible that her unique talents will be used. She might be playing one of the intelligent beings Geralt could meet in the fourth season.

Phillip Edwards — an actor and understudy who has already worked as an understudy in the second season of The Witcher». He will probably be playing or understudying one of the Red Men or the Lowlanders, possibly from Zoltan and Geralt’s team.
