A new teaser for «Alien: Earth», which offers a new look at the Xenomorph and the devastated Earth.
In addition to a couple of new shots against the background of atmospheric sounds, the teaser offered some details about the plot. Thus, it is known that the events will take place in 2120 and will tell the story of a spaceship crew that arrives on Earth and, of course, faces a threat from creepy creatures.
«As members of the evacuation team search for survivors in the wreckage, they encounter mysterious predatory life forms — more terrible than they could have ever imagined. The team will have to fight for survival and their decision may change the Earth itself».
At the same time, the teaser also revealed the date of the premiere, which will take place a little earlier than expected — in the summer of 2025 on the Hulu service
Previously, showrunner «Alien: Earth» Noah Hawley said that the series will introduce «a new species of Xenomorph» — different from those seen in the films of the franchise «Alien»:
«It’s really interesting for me to bring my own ideas to the overall look of the creature — without touching the silhouette, that’s sacred. I just wanted to play around a bit to make the effect as scary as possible».
The series follows the new movie in the franchise, «Alien: Romulus» which also offered new elements for the overall style of Aliens — for example, the movie showed a new creature known as «Descendant», which arose after the Xenomorph’s interaction with a pregnant woman.
The main role in the series «Alien: Earth» will star Sidney Chandler («Don’t Worry, Baby») in the company of Alex Lauter, Timothy Oliphant, Essie Davis, Samuel Blankin, and others.
