The administration of US President Donald Trump has launched the CBP Home app, which will allow illegal immigrants to «self-deport» from the country.

During his election campaign, Donald Trump promised to deport a huge number of migrants from the United States. Now, the Administration is preparing to take steps to implement these intentions. The executive order, which will go into effect on April 11, requires people without legal status in the United States to register with the federal government or face fines or imprisonment.
CBP Home will replace the CBP One app, which was launched under President Joe Biden. The previous program allowed about a million migrants from Mexico to make an appointment to request legal entry and cross the border. Republicans have criticized Biden’s application for allegedly facilitating mass migration to the United States and for not properly vetting migrants. Trump shut down CBP Home an hour after taking office, shocking many who had intended to use it.
