The movie “Thunderbolts*” turned out to be so fantastic that Marvel decided to give it a bit more attention and reshoot some parts. Seems like everyone who’s seen something so far really liked it.
“Thunderbolts*” is set to be one of the three major releases from Disney and Marvel next year, along with “Captain America: Brave New World” and “Fantastic Four: First Steps” in 2025. Earlier this year, there were reports that filming had wrapped. However, in the last few days, the movie has gone back for additional shooting. It’s unclear how extensive the shooting process will be and how much the film will change—maybe the situation isn’t as bad as with “Captain America”.
One fan spotted director Jake Schreier, who was overseeing the filming process. There’s no word on the cast of the new scenes, but minor reshoots are not uncommon for Marvel films. There are no clear hints about what’s exactly happening, just fan speculations.
Recently, Jake Schreier gave some insight into the tone of the film and noted that no one really guessed the true plot: “I’ve seen many descriptions that just state as fact that viewers can expect a team assembled by Valentina to do bad things. I understand, it’s a theory, but it’s not [the real] story.”
This superhero flick with a mishmash of Russian characters will hit Ukrainian cinemas on May 1, 2025. The date is quite ironic for such a showcase.
