Two Ukrainians have created Thumbnailed it, an artificial intelligence-based tool for improving YouTube views. The startup is attracting investment and planning to expand.
Website dev.ua says that last fall, Vadym Yaremchuk and Roman Galdava had the idea to create a startup based on their many years of work in a design agency. For the tool to work, the user simply provides a script to the Slack bot and quickly receives a title, cover, and description focused on views — everything happens automatically.
Thumbnailed it identifies the author’s niche using audience information, and uses YouTube’s API to identify 10 or more abnormal cases of view growth in the niche. Next, the AI analyzes the video design and looks for similar parameters, such as composition, colors, focus areas, etc. The tool also detects the structure, hook, and emotions of the headlines. Based on this and the information provided by the user, Thumbnailed it creates a description, a splash page, and a title.
«Compared to agencies or freelancers, it usually takes about 48 hours to create a package. That’s why we focus on radically reducing production time so that the author can get the final product almost immediately, without leaving the chat,», — says Vadym Yaremchuk.
The project is currently running on ProductHunt. It is being finalized and a test version is available. The program currently works with Ukrainian and English-language channels. Thumbnailed it is designed for two types of users: those who receive direct income from YouTube and companies that use it as a marketing tool.
«Having attracted the first 5 users for the test period, we received valuable feedback. …The test model assumes delivery of the finished package within 24 hours. With image generation enabled, it will take no more than 2 minutes». By the way, the direct generation of images in the product should appear in early April.
The test version has a Custom Pro subscription, where the analysis is automated and the design is created manually. The final price is determined by the user, depending on the number of videos. The amount starts at $100 per month (with 2 packages of $50 per month). As the number of orders per month increases, the price per order decreases. In the final version, there will be Light — 20 packages, without image editing ($60), and Basic — includes 40 packages with image editing ($100).
