Apple Company announced the seventh generation of the iPad mini tablet, which received a more powerful processor and advanced artificial intelligence features.
Instead of the A15 Bionic, it now uses the A17 Pro — the same chip as the iPhone 15 Pro, with six CPU cores and five GPU cores. This made it possible to add support for the following technologies Apple Intelligence including an improved Siri voice assistant, texting and image creation tools.
The iPad mini 7 has an 8.3-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2266×1488 pixels. Unfortunately, the refresh rate remains a modest — 60 Hz.
The new device supports a stylus Apple Pencil Pro which expands the possibilities for creativity and work. The tablet also has a 12-megapixel main camera, a fingerprint sensor in the side button and a USB-C port.
The iPad mini 7 will go on sale on October 23. The price of the 128 GB base model is $499.
