Ubisoft urged gamers not to criticize the quality of Assassin’s Creed Shadows after early leaks.
Ubisoft claims that videos that have appeared on the web do not reflect the final version. The developers are working on improving the technical condition of the game before the release. Previously, Assassin’s Creed Shadows were postponed due to unfinished mechanics of parkour and repelling attacks.
«Leaks — are unfortunate and can reduce the excitement for players. We ask you not to ruin the experience for others. Thank you to our community for already taking steps to protect everyone from spoilers»,” the company wrote in X (Twitter).
Some players managed to get physical copies in advance and posted gameplay videos online. The community’s reaction to the game was mixed: some noticed bugs and technical problems, while others were pleased with what they saw.

Pre-orders of Assassin’s Creed Shadows have reached 300 thousand copies, said Tom Henderson. The journalist predicted that the game’s total sales would reach 3.5 million copies, which is less than the developers expected.
In the final version, the developers will introduce a special «canonical mode», which will choose the «correct» answer in dialogs instead of the player. Another feature of the game will be the ability to complete missions as two characters — Naoe and Yasuke.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be released on March 20 on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation 5. У Steam to pre-order the game costs ₴1999, in Ubisoft Store — ₴1519. The developers also presented first reviews and system requirements of the game.
