According to unofficial reports, British actor Jake Lempert, known for the TV series «Andor», will play a minor character in The Witcher 4, known as Project Polaris.
Information leaked through the actor’s Spotlight profile. It is not known who the character named Branco is or what role he will play.
The Slavic name Branko suggests that it is more likely to be someone from Redania or other Northern kingdoms, of simple origin, not an aristocrat. This is probably a minor character, but noticeable enough to be played by a relatively well-known actor.
Another important piece of information from this leak is the estimated release date of the game. It is confirmed by an earlier leak of the GOG.com store placeholder page, which mentioned 2025. Back in October 2022, CD Projekt Red announced that The Witcher 4 was at least three years away from release. The new data may indicate that the game’s development continues without delays.
Currently, we know about The Witcher 4 that the game is likely to, has already completed pre-production. More than 400 people are working on it – the majority of the CD Projekt RED staff. Actor Doug Cockle will continue to voice Geralt — who, however, will not be the main character of the game. The developers say that they will take into account all the mistakes of the Cyberpunk 2077 launch, and The Witcher 4 will be the most perfect of all the company’s games at launch.
