Fallout: Vault 13 mod that transfers the first game to the fourth has been canceled

The global modification of Fallout: Vault 13 has been suspended for the «well-being of the project participants». Later, the community or the authors themselves will be able to continue if they wish.

Fallout: Vault 13 has been in development since 2021, but it has attracted everyone’s attention after the release of the demo version in August this year. It was supposed to include five open-world zones, «a completely updated level system», voice acting, a full list of original Fallout quests and characters, as well as new content.

But even despite the excitement caused by the demo, the development team was unable to continue with «due to a combination of factors». In a statement posted on social media, the founder and co-leader of the project, Culinwin, explains the reasons.

«After much thought and discussion, we have decided to officially suspend development of Fallout: Vault 13. It wasn’t an easy decision, but we believe it’s the right thing to do at this point in our journey».

In a subsequent post, Culinwin named staffing issues and the well-being of participants as reasons for burnout.
