The plot of «Trap» is partially inspired by the «Flagship» operation that took place on December 18, 1985. Back then, disguised law enforcement officers arrested 101 wanted fugitives at a convention center, using a fake TV company to invite them to receive free tickets to NFL games. The film was directed by M. Night Shyamalan and starred Josh Hartnett
«Longlegs»

The film tells the story of FBI agent Lee Harker, who is tasked with tracking down an elusive occultist serial killer known as the «Longlegs», responsible for the murder of several families across the state of Oregon. But the closer she gets to the mysterious killer, the more she realizes that there is a connection between them.
Western critics have called the film by American director Oz Perkins the best horror since «Silence of the Lambs» and the scariest movie of the decade. We’ll find out whether such loud statements are justified on August 1. And don’t forget that this is a horror movie with Nicolas Cage, which is a factor that is quite eloquent.

The plot of the film «It Ends with Us» is based on the novel of the same name by Colleen Hoover, which was published in 2016 and stars Blake Lively.

«The Devil’s Bath» is based on historical research by Katie Stewart, which focused on a crime common in the 17th and 18th centuries in German-speaking Central Europe and Scandinavia. Suicidal people were afraid of eternal damnation, so they found a workaround. They committed a serious crime, then surrendered to the authorities and demanded execution. The criminals hoped that after repentance, confession, and public execution, they would find salvation. The protagonist is largely based on the real-life personality of Eva Litzelfelner, a peasant from Upper Austria.
«Borderlands»

The famous thief Lilith returns to the place where she grew up and forms an unexpected alliance with a team of misfits to find the missing daughter of the most powerful man in the universe. It is based on the first-person shooter video game series of the same name, developed by Gearbox Software. The film’s cast includes Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Jack Black (voice actor).
Recent successes of game adaptations both on big («Sonic the Hedgehog», «Five Nights at Freddy’s»), and small screens («The Last of Us», «Fallout»), indicate that this area has good prospects and is becoming a serious, competitive player in the market. With this in mind, it is especially interesting to see how «Borderlands» will perform.

The desperate woman decides to regain her strength to take revenge on the occupiers.
The plot of the film is inspired by the image of a Ukrainian witch from ancient legends and beliefs, as well as by the real story of a resident of Konotop who swore off the Russian invader.
