But what if we have a long journey, a trip, or a move ahead of us? For such cases, last fall Acer diversified its range of accessories with new suitcases of the same name — Predator series. We’re going to talk about them in this unusual review.

The first thing that catches your eye after unpacking is the «Predator Gaming» logo, which has long been familiar to ardent fans of virtual battles. The color is practical and, unlike darker shades, does not actively collect traces of dirt and use that are bound to appear during numerous trips.

It is suitable for those who carry only basic gadgets and few belongings. Its weight is only 3.3 kilograms, and its volume is 41 liters, with dimensions of 54x27x36 cm. When I unpacked the suitcase, I had a feeling of déjà vu, and only later did I realize that it reminded me of the ammo box in Far Cry 5. To make the analogy complete, all that’s missing is a green color with yellow inserts. The naked eye can see that the designers were inspired by a mix of gaming and military themes, which is not surprising for the Acer Predator gaming series.

There are four double wheels on the bottom, each of which is rubberized and located in a separate corner. On the wall, we can find special plastic supports that allow you to fix the suitcase in a sideways position. In addition, there are three handles: two of them are stationary, and one is retractable, telescopic. User experience

I should note right away that I am not a fan of suitcases and prefer large hiking backpacks with a volume of 60-80 liters for long trips. But at the same time, I realize that it’s better to rely on secure solutions when transporting valuable equipment. In this regard, the Acer Predator Robust 22″ stands out because it offers a larger volume and a subjectively stronger design.

It can hold not only small gadgets, but also a whole range of different equipment and things. There is room for two DSLRs with a telephoto lens, an external flash, and a manual retro. There was also room for a 14″ work laptop and a BP headset. The second compartment with a hanger holds enough clothes to be enough for an average future owner.

The Acer Predator Streetstyle 20″ can accommodate a laptop, several chargers, documents, and small peripherals, given its size. The main compartment is good for the most necessary things. Its top and side handles are not as comfortable as those of its older counterpart. If you can fit more than 10 kg inside, it may be difficult for the future owner to carry it in his hands.
