The official government website of Elon Musk’s Department of Efficiency (DOGE) appears to be receiving information from a database that can be edited by any third-party developers.
Experts in web development (via 404 media) found security flaws in the official doge.gov website, which demonstrate that it extracts information from a database accessible to unauthorized persons. In fact, any developer can upload unauthorized information to the site. One of them has already added at least a couple of records, including a message:
«These “experts” left their database open».
At the time of publication of the news, the notice was still available on the website.

While doge.gov displays a banner that reads «the official website of the U.S. government», the developers say it is actually «molded from shit and sticks» and does not work on government servers.
A few days earlier, another government site called waste.gov, intended to document «financial crimes» committed by US government departments and discovered in good faith by Elon Musk’s team, was hidden and blocked after it was discovered that it was a WordPress stub page that advertised an architectural company.

Musk himself received the status of «special civil servant» to be involved in the work of the Government: he does not receive a salary, but actually has access to state secrets. Earlier, his department was distinguished by the fact that it received «unprecedented access» access to confidential US financial systems with data on millions of Americansand the billionaire himself initiated the decision to close some US agencies, including USAID, stating that and financed «the development of biological weapons».
«He is a big businessman. He is a successful guy. That’s why we want him to do this», — said Trump at a press conference on Tuesday about Musk, emphasizing that DOGE «has a lot of work to do and a lot of smart people involved».
