Jason Schreier, one of the most respected video game industry insiders, expressed doubts about the release of Grand Theft Auto 6 in 2025.
Rockstar Games has been working on GTA 6 since 2018, after the release of Red Dead Redemption 2. The previous installment of the series sold more than 205 million copies and still remains one of the most popular video games. In December 2023, the developers presented the first trailer for GTA 6 and announced their intention to release the game in the fall of 2025. Since then, no new details about the project have emerged.
