The American rapper and entrepreneur Kanye West, known as Ye, has previously announced the release of his own token. The coin was to be called YZY and serve as a means of payment in the Ye online store. The launch was supposedly planned for Thursday or Friday, but the plans were undermined by the recent the scandal surrounding the LIBRA token.
Now, Kanye West, aka Ye, has upped the ante and decided to capitalize on his controversial reputation, to put it mildly. In a series of posts (which have already been deleted), he announced a coin called Swasticoin, which will be launched this week. In his posts, West claimed that priority access to the Swasticoin contract address would be given to «Jewish individuals, friends, and family» first, further fueling outrage given his recent anti-Semitic remarks.
Ye also asked his followers for advice on choosing blockchain networks to launch, such as Ethereum, Solana, and BNB Chain.
The attitude to this announcement is skeptical. Crypto analysts have noticed a significant change in the style of Ye’s posts. There is a high probability that Swasticoin may turn out to be a scam, especially against the background of rumor that West may have sold his X account to trader Christian Barker (BarkMeta) for $17 million. This person is associated with various cryptocurrency scams.

BarkMeta is well known for the POX token scam in 2022 and the failed DeFiApes NFT project, when it raised over $40 million and disappeared.
Users also claim that BarkMeta controls the account of AB (athlete Antonio Brown). On February 23, he promoted the alleged Yeezy Coin. The token was quickly exposed as scam and was taken out of circulation within hours.
Ye’s recent activity on the X platform has included offensive statements directed at various groups, glorifying Nazism and Adolf Hitler, prompting X owner Elon Musk to unfollow him and mark the account as NSFW (not suitable for viewing). Despite this, the Ye account remains active.
