Recently, the first trailer for the movie «Fantastic Four: First Steps», which introduces us to Reed Richards’ team with Pedro Pascal at the helm. In addition to giving us an idea of the tone of the upcoming film and what the main characters will look like, the video and posters contain a lot of interesting details and references to the wider MCU universe.
1. Future Foundation
Even before the release of the main trailer, Marvel published a short teaser in which the name Future Foundation appeared, and it is well known to longtime fans of «Fantastic Four».

Future Foundation — this is is a team of superheroes (and super-scientists at the same time) that debuted in the comics in 2010 and was founded after the death of Johnny Storm. It is not yet clear how it will be shown in the movie, but it seems that the team is behind the rocket launch. At least that’s what the description to the official trailer on YouTube says:
«Broadcasting from the U.S. Rocket and Space Center in Huntsville, Alabama, the Future Foundation invites you to count down to the launch of the official Marvel Studios trailer for “Fantastic Four: First Steps”».
2. Fantasticar
Briefly, but long enough to see during the pause, Fantasticar — the flyinga car that first appeared in Stan Lee’s early comics and became the team’s main mode of transportation

3. Baxter Building
Baxter Building — this is an office building where Sue (Vanessa Kirby) and Richards (Pascal) walk around at the beginning of the trailer.
The Baxter Building, located in Manhattan, New York, was first featured in the third episode of «The Fantastic Four» in the 60s (the team’s headquarters is located on the top five floors).

4. Galactus
The supervillain is here! In the trailer, we get our first look at what Galactus (Ralph Fiennes) will look like in the MCU — and its size is gigantic (although we can see one shadow and the back of its head)
According to the comics, Galactus is a cosmic omnipotent being who feeds on the energy of the planets.

5. Multiverse
If you look closely at the inscriptions that Reed Richards left on the board, you will notice something interesting: a molehill — a hypothetical feature of spacetime that is a «tunnel» in space at any given time. Fans also write that there are words «Another universe?» on the board, but if so, they are very difficult to see

Maybe Reed knows something about the existence of the multiverse? Or, with Galactus approaching, he’s looking for any way out of his world in the worst-case scenario. In any case, we are waiting for the answer in the movie, and we remind you that the appearance of the Fantastic Four in the following «Avengers» has already been confirmed.
6. H.E.R.B.I.E.
H.E.R.B.I.E. — this is is a robot ally of the Fantastic Four. In the trailer, he is shown at the beginning of the movie, preparing Sunday dinner with Ben Grimm.

9. Kaplan’s
The TV that the Creature is watching in the storefront has the inscription «Kaplan’s». This is obviously a small reference to Jeff Kaplan, who wrote the screenplay for the movie with Ian Springer. There seems to be no mention of a second screenwriter in the trailer, but perhaps it will be in the movie itself. Be careful:)

10. A secret message from Marvel
If you suddenly watched the live broadcast in addition to the trailer, you may have heard a repeating beep as the countdown to the launch began. As it turned out one of the Reddit users. This is a Morse code signal and can be decoded as a radiation message.
Given that the launch (and the trailer for the «movie») revolved around the «Marvel First Family» and a space mission, and the Fantastic Four gained their powers after being exposed to cosmic rays, it seems like a perfectly thoughtful message.

Recall that the movie premiere «Fantastic Four: The First Steps» is scheduled for July 25, 2025 (a day earlier in Ukraine).
