
Xiaomi’s new Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro tablets offer a high-frequency, high-resolution screen and fast charging. The older model has high-quality cameras.
Along with flagship smartphones Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro The company also introduced the Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro tablets. The base model has a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor, and the Pad 7 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 3.
Both tablets have an 11.2″ screen with a 3200×2136 resolution, 3:2 aspect ratio, 144Hz refresh rate, and 800 nits of peak brightness. The battery has a capacity of 8850 mAh, but the Xiaomi Pad 7 supports a charging power of up to 45 watts, while the Pro replenishes the battery faster with 67 watts.
The Xiaomi Pad 7 has a 13MP main camera and an 8MP front-facing camera, while the Pad 7 is much better equipped with a 50MP main camera and a 32MP selfie camera. Both models run Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2, presumably based on Android 15, although this has not yet been confirmed. Both have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The tablets come in 8/128GB, 8/256GB and 12/256GB storage configurations, with the older model also available in an exclusive 12/512GB version. The tablets have the same dimensions: 251.22 x 173.42 x 6.18 mm, each weighing 500 g. The devices are available in black, blue and green colors.
The price of Xiaomi Pad 7 starts from ~$280, Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro costs from ~$350. The tablets are expected to enter the global market in early 2025.
