Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Olaf Scholz in Kyiv inspected new Ukrainian and Ukrainian-German drones. Among them were UAVs similar to “Shahed” and “Lancet”.
Among other exhibits at the exhibition, a new “wing” type kamikaze drone was shown, which externally resembles a scaled-down Iranian “Shahed” used by Russia. The technical specifications of the drone have not been published, so its properties can only be judged from its design.

The site “Military” reports that the drone has a fixed camera, communication antennas, and an electric motor. It is likely not a long-range UAV, but rather a kamikaze drone for destroying targets within a conditional tens of kilometers radius. Thus, despite the visual similarity to “Shaheds,” the unnamed UAV is closer in application to the Russian “Lancet.”
The limited spatial capabilities of the camera indicate more about guidance than target searching. Based on the size, it can be assumed that the drone can carry several kilograms of explosive material.
Another interesting Ukrainian strike drone externally resembles “Lancet.” The RAM-2X UAV was already presented to the President of Ukraine in the spring of 2024, and during the year it destroyed Russian military equipment in tests.

The RAM-2X drone strikes ground or aerial, moving or stationary targets, thanks to maneuverability and high speed. The UAV with an electric motor is launched from a catapult for maximum convenience and speed of use in combat. Thanks to its X-shaped design, it strikes at various angles, including directly.
The drone carries a 3 kg warhead and reaches speeds of up to 180 km/h. It can be equipped with shaped charge, thermobaric, or fragmentation charges. Paired with a relay drone, the RAM-2X can strike targets up to 100 km away. It is equipped with AES256 communication encryption and a guidance module, which allows better performance in EW conditions.
Also, the leaders of Ukraine and Germany inspected other, previously known drones, ground robots, the “swarm of drones” control system, and other high-tech weaponry.
