Shortly after it became known that Tom Holland was joining Christopher Nolan’s new movie, «Spider-Man» was already excited about being invited to join him.
У program «Good Morning America» Holland was asked about the new film, which will be Nolan’s first since the Oscar-winning «Oppenheimer». Confirming that he is indeed appearing in the mystery movie, Holland compared the call about it to being invited to play Spider-Man.
«It was the phone call of a lifetime, reminiscent of that Spider-Man call 10 years ago. It was incredible for me. I’m very proud of it and really, really excited».
As a reminder, the movie is rumored to be a story about vampires in the 1920s (however it may sound). Also in the movie played by Matt Damon. Holland said almost nothing about the movie:
«All I can say is that I’m incredibly excited and obviously honored, but that’s all I can say because, honestly, that’s all I really know».
According to the actor, it appears that he has already signed a contract, despite the fact that he knows very little about the upcoming movie. When asked if he would have joined Nolan’s project blindly, Holland simply replied: «100%. Without a shadow of a doubt».
But next up for Holland is the highly anticipated fourth «Spider-Man» film, which he recently confirmed. It is not clear whether Zendaya will also return (although she was reading the script), or other actors in the franchise. The release of Nolan’s next film is currently scheduled for July 17, 2026 (July 26, according to other sources).
