The Game Awards announced its nominees for 2024, selected by a global jury of more than 130 media outlets and influencers.
This year, Astro Bot and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth led the way with seven nominations each, including «Game of the Year». Sony Interactive Entertainment is the publisher with the most nominations with — 16, followed by Square Enix and Xbox Game Studios with 12 nominations each, and SEGA with 11 nominations.
The tenth anniversary ceremony of The Game Awards will start in Los Angeles late on December 12 (in our country — at night on December 13). The event will include awards, world premieres and trailers, musical performances by The Game Awards Orchestra under the direction of conductor Lorne Balfe, and other surprises.
