The next installment of The Witcher, known as Project Polaris, has entered the active development phase. This was announced by CD Projekt RED on Twitter.

With new challenges at our doorstep, it is the talented and hardworking people who make me believe that together we can make the upcoming Witcher Saga an outstanding experience. We will not stop! Keep an eye on the other side of the coin!», — wrote Sebastian Kalemba, game director of The Witcher trilogy.

In July of this year, 410 developers were already working on Project Polaris. Pyotr Nelubovich, CFO of CD Project RED said in August about the project’s readiness to move to a new stage of development — production.
According to information leaks the game may be released in late 2025.
