Vivo launches X200s, a slim flagship with a large battery, three 50MP Zeiss cameras, and a price starting at $575

Vivo has decided to please its fans by offering three new flagship smartphones with a variety of unique features and characteristics. Let’s start with the Vivo X200s, the most affordable model among the new products.

Vivo X200s is an improved version of of the X200 smartphonewhich retained the familiar design but received several important technical improvements. In particular, the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor has been replaced by the slightly more efficient Dimensity 9400+, and the battery has been increased from 5800 mAh to 6200 mAh. In addition to 90W fast charging via USB-C, it now supports wireless charging up to 40W. Despite the larger battery, the smartphone remains 7.99 mm thick and weighs — 205 grams. The amount of RAM can be 12 or 16 GB, and the built-in storage capacity can be from 256 GB to 1 TB.

Vivo X200s is equipped with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800×1260 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of up to 5000 nits. At the top of the display, a 32-megapixel front-facing camera is located in a round hole. Around it is something similar to Dynamic Island. The extended «pill» can display active background tasks, such as a timer or a route in the navigator. The fingerprint scanner is integrated under the screen and uses an ultrasonic sensor.

On the back is a large round camera module. It contains a main 1/1.56-inch module with optical stabilization and an f/1.6 lens, an ultra-wide-angle module (1/1.76″, f/2.0) and a telephoto module with 3x optical zoom and OIS (f/2.6 lens). All three cameras have a resolution of 50 megapixels, are equipped with Zeiss optics, and support 4K video recording and 1080p slow motion video.

The price of Vivo X200s in China ranges from $575 for the basic configuration with 12+256 GB of storage to $753 for the top-of-the-line version, which offers 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage.

A little earlier, Vivo introduced Y300 Pro+ and Y300t smartphones with an even larger 7300 mAh battery and a price starting at $250.
