The recent beta release of Windows 11 22635.4805, besides officially announced features, contains an interesting and possibly convenient interface option that expands file maneuvering capabilities.
The new Windows 11 allows “throwing” files into various applications by simply dragging them to the top edge of the screen. As the cursor with the grabbed file approaches, Windows reproduces a tray with applications: Outlook, Phone Link, etc., allowing you to “throw” the file. This feature does not interfere with Snap Layots — the grouping of windows, which also works at the top of the screen.

Microsoft has not yet announced this change, but it can already be tested with build 22635.4805. To do this, you need to:
- Download ViveTool from GitHub and unpack the files into a convenient folder
- Run the command line as an administrator and go to the folder with ViveTool, using the CD command
- Enter vivetool /enable /id:45624564,53397005,48433719 and press Enter
- Restart the computer
