Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred Spiritborn class deals 235 trillion damage thanks to bugs, and that’s not the limit

The new Diablo 4 class, Spiritborn with a fresh addition became a hundred thousand times stronger than the others thanks to the game’s bugs.

The most prominent players in the Diablo 4 community have spent the last few weeks developing the Spiritborn class. They found serious bugs that exponentially increase damage regardless of build. One of the bugs increases damage by more than five times, and it’s very easy to exploit.

There is a bonus to passive damage that rewards the player for creating a defense, a temporary health bonus equal to the total health the character has at the time. This is supposed to be the amount of health from all bonuses without equipment, but in fact it is full health. Accordingly, if full health is taken into account, the damage is off the charts. Moreover, the effects of Spiritborn skills stack, including at the expense of rune words.

And this is just one mistake, there are others. The class mechanic «Jaguar», which uses all the damage that the character has dealt in the last 0.5 seconds for a very strong hit, incorrectly reapplies all bonuses a second time. The Resolve bonus on equipment can be upgraded much higher than any other characteristic in the game, increasing defense and damage tremendously. A staff that drains mana every time a skill that guarantees critical hits is used increases damage proportionally to resource generation, and no one knows why.

YouTuber NickTew has a clear explanation of how each of the mechanics is broken and how they are responsible for the damage they do. The Pit, the most difficult dungeon in the game, with monsters that have billions of health. Before the Vessel of Hatred expansion, no one had even seen the highest level. But Spiritborn are able to penetrate it. The character overcame it with a build that reached 235 trillion damage.

At the time of writing, Blizzard has fixed one of the bugs, which is related to animation and the hot button. But the other part of the bugs is predicted to exist until the next season. Researchers are also discovering new exploits. At the very least, it’s worth seizing the moment with the Spiritborn class and creating very strong builds, if not top ones.
