Elon Musk is looking for revolutionaries with an ultra-high IQ — and a willingness to work 80+ hours a week at DOGE

DOGE (or Department of Government Effectiveness), which headed by Elon Musk in the team of President-elect Trump announced a competition to fill the positions.

The main requirements for candidates are an ultra-high IQ and a willingness to work 80 hours a week.

«We don’t need additional idea generators. We need revolutionaries with super-high IQs who are willing to work 80+ hours a week to cut costs,» the department said in a post on Twitter. «If this is you, please send a resume in private messages. Elon and Vivek will review the top 1% of candidates»

The aforementioned Vivek RamaswamyRamaswamy is known for opposing Ukraine's membership in NATO and for territorial concessions to Moscow; supports the idea of controlling the Mexican border by regular army forces; calls for an embargo on US companies' cooperation with China will head the department together with Musk.

The DOGE department is unofficial (although it has a government organization ticker on Twitter) and will work to cut government spending and change inefficient laws.

It is worth reminding that Elon Musk invested about $100 million in Trump’s election campaign and, according to some unconfirmed reports, has allegedly already participated in official conversations between the newly minted president and the leaders of other countries, including Ukraine and Turkey.

As for the 80+ hours a week work requirement, it is not new to Musk personally — he himself has allegedly spent the night at Tesla and Twitter offices on several occasions, encouraging staff to do the same. As for the new project with DOGE, Elon has already announced that he will create a table that will display the «craziest» examples of government spending, promoting «maximum transparency» and allow the public to provide comments and feedback.
