And it looks pretty creepy — instead of spiders, players see crawling piles of slime with tentacle-like appendages. The result is so scary that some fans jokingly ask to add a «setting for this» setting.
According to gamers, the transformation into slime applies not only to spiders, but also to other insect-like monsters, such as mosquito-like ones. Now, gamers are wondering if this will affect the new Lala Barina monster that will appear in Wilds.

The Monster Hunter series was released by the Japanese company Capcom, and the game has been popular among players since 2004. The essence of the game is simple: hunters go to fantasy worlds in search of huge monsters. Each victorious battle brings not only adrenaline, but also trophies — the heroes use them to craft more powerful equipment for even more dangerous adventures.
As a reminder, Monster Hunter Wilds has already become the leader of the Gamescom Awards 2024, having received four awards.
