Amazon «has revealed» Intel Arc B580 graphics cards — the first on the new Battlemage architecture

The Amazon marketplace has shown Intel Arc B580 video cards — the first in a new generation with Xe2-HPG (Battlemage) architecture. It is likely that a launch is set for this year.

In the description of the characteristics in one line of the product offer, which is now deleted, it is mentioned that the ASRock Arc B580 Steel Legend video card operates at a GPU frequency of up to 2.8 GHz. There is 12 GB of GDDR6 memory with a frequency of 19 Gbps and operates via a 192-bit bus, 8K (7680 x 4320) resolution is supported.

Images confirm the presence of two 8-pin power connectors, not a 16-pin one. This means a maximum possible consumption of up to 375W.

Unlike the Steel Legend, the ASRock Arc B580 Challenger video card has only one 8-pin connector. It has a TDP of less than 225W (150W + 75W) and supports the PCIe 5.0 x8 interface — at least half of the contacts are not muted. The PCIe 5.0 x8 interface offers the same bandwidth as the 4.0 x16. But to implement it, a motherboard with PCIe 5.0 support will be required.

Intel has already added a new section to the driver page, confirming quick launch. The prices of the new video cards remain unknown.
