The first Apple computers with M4 chips are on sale just a few months agoin November. But now the company has begun offering refurbished Mac mini and MacBook Pro models at discounted prices in various configurations.
So, online store of refurbished Apple products has been replenished with two new products:
- M4 Mac mini
- M4 MacBook Pro
Each Mac is available in a variety of configurations that differ in features such as chip (M4, M4 Pro, or M4 Max), size (14-inch or 16-inch MacBook Pro), SSD capacity, RAM, and more.
As with other refurbished Apple products, the advantage of buying used is the availability of discounts. The discounts will vary depending on the specific configuration that the buyer chooses. For example, a refurbished Mac Mini in the basic version with an M4 chip and 16 GB of RAM is sold for $509, which is $90 cheaper than a new similar model ($599).
A $210 discount is offered on the basic Mac Mini M4 Pro (24 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD), which usually costs $1399, and a refurbished one can be purchased for $1189. The biggest discount is given for the most powerful version of the Mac Mini M4 Pro (14-core CPU, 20-core GPU, 64 GB RAM, 8 TB SSD, 10 Gigabit Ethernet). In this case, the refurbished device can be purchased for $3989 instead of $4699, saving $710.
When purchasing a refurbished device from Apple, customers receive several guarantees and benefits, including a limited warranty for one year, as well as free shipping and returns.
Each refurbished computer has undergone full functional testing, replacement of original Apple parts (if necessary), and thorough cleaning. The original operating system or a newer version is installed on such devices. All accessories and cables are repackaged in a new box.
