Google Gemini will become the main smart assistant on Samsung Galaxy S25 smartphones, replacing the default Bixby (access to the assistant is not closed, however, devices will launch Gemini by default).
Interestingly: Gemini will be able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously — for example, search for information on the internet and immediately send it to your friend in a messenger or add the relevant event to the calendar.

Support for multitasking is based on current Gemini extensions that cover various Google apps and some limited options from third-party developers, including WhatsApp and Spotify. Available Samsung apps for the AI assistant include calendar, notes, reminders, and clock.

Likewise, the Gemini Live voice conversation feature has been updated, but it is currently limited to Galaxy S25 and S24 smartphones, as well as the Pixel 9 series. Owners of the mentioned devices will be able to share images, files, and YouTube videos through the chat interface, asking Gemini for feedback and information.
Google also announced that features such as screen sharing and real-time video broadcasting will appear in Gemini on Android in the coming months. Improvements for Circle to Search include automatic recognition of phone numbers, email addresses, and URLs for easier interaction.
Vice President of Google Gemini, Cissy Xiao notes that the S25 series will come with 6 free months of Gemini Advanced, so owners can try out the latest models and Gemini features.
