Gamers found a version of the video with improved quality on a Chinese video hosting site.
Rockstar Games has presented the first trailer for GTA 6 in December 2023. The game has been in development for about a decade, which was made possible by the stable revenue from GTA Online and re-releases of previous installments in the series.
Fans of the Grand Theft Auto series have found a higher-resolution version of the first GTA 6 trailer on the Chinese video hosting service BiliBili (here link this video).
The improved video quality allowed fans to notice the texture of stretch marks on NPCs’ bodies on the beach, the hair on the hands of the main character Lucia, and the wrinkles on the faces of the protagonists. These findings demonstrate Rockstar’s extraordinary attention to detail. The team pays special attention to every character in the game, regardless of their role.
The developers have previously stated that GTA 6 will set a new quality standard for Rockstar projects. In the leaked materials, players found references to an improved animation system, more complex emotions of non-player characters, and improved memory of artificial intelligence.

The community even called the found version of the trailer the Definitive Edition because of the noticeable difference in quality compared to previous versions of the video.
