Microsoft has unveiled a new version of its branded Xbox wireless gaming headphones, which has received a number of improvements over the previous 2021 model.
Microsoft has added Dolby Atmos spatial sound technology to the headset at no additional cost. Together with Windows Sonic and DTS Headphone X, this allows you to accurately identify the sources of sounds in the game: gunshots, footsteps, and other important sound elements.
The headset also has an updated microphone that automatically mutes and filters out background noise so that the interlocutors can hear a clear voice without unnecessary interference. The flexible microphone holder has an LED activity indicator.
The battery life has been increased from 15 to 20 hours compared to the previous model. The headphones support fast charging: 30 minutes of charging provides approximately four hours of use. However, a full charge still takes 3 hours.
The design remains unchanged with an adjustable steel headband and soft leather and foam ear cushions. The color is black. The cups have volume and game/voice balance controls, a power button, and a microphone switch. For additional settings, you can use the Xbox Accessories app, where you can adjust the equalizer, bass boost, mute, LED brightness, and microphone monitoring.
The headset supports Bluetooth 5.3 for connection with PCs and mobile devices. Qualcomm S5 Gen 2 technology ensures minimal signal delay.
The price of the device is $110 (approximately 4550 UAH). Pre-orders are already available on the Xbox website.
