The Minister of Digital Transformation shared how many Ukrainians applied for the “Winter eSupport” in “Diia”. President Zelensky discussed further assistance programs.
“In 5 hours, Ukrainians submitted over 1,000,000 applications for 1,000 hryvnias in the app. You are awesome, thank you for choosing Diia. The service is flying: 2 minutes — and you have submitted an application for Winter eSupport. I remind you that you have 3 months to use the service,” — writes Mykhailo Fedorov.
“Winter eSupport” is transferred to the “National Cashback” card upon application. Pensioners and people with disabilities of groups I and II can receive 1000 UAH through “Ukrposhta”. To receive assistance, you need:
- Log in to “Diia”
- In “Services”, select “Winter eSupport”
- Click “Submit new application” and “Start”
- The program will let you choose who the payment is for — for yourself or for a child. In the latter case, a birth certificate should load in “Diia”, you can also add the option “Add a certificate”.
- Then select an account for the payment
- Check “I am located in Ukraine” and click “Send”
The received 1000 UAH can be used for utility bills, medicine, veterinary services, legal services, education, sports, recreation, insurance, transport, mobile communication, charity, donations to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, military bonds, beauty, entertainment, etc. In a video address, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, said that the government is preparing other assistance programs for the population.
“And also, the government must present the details of other support programs this winter and during the next year”.
Let us remind you that the issuance of 1000 UAH “Winter eSupport” definitely started with the beginning of the “historic tax increase”. Despite the confusion at the end of November, tax changes still came into effect on December 1.
