Motorola has updated its mid-range smartphone lineup with the introduction of new Moto G series devices in the 2025 lineup.
The new Moto G 2025 is equipped with a 6.7-inch display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Peak brightness reaches 1000 nits. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The device has a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and 5G support. The main 50-megapixel camera on the back is complemented by a 2-megapixel macro module, and a 16-megapixel camera on the front is designed for self-portraits. Moto G 2025 uses a 5000 mAh battery and supports 30W fast charging. The novelty has a «water-repellent design», but the level of protection against dust and moisture has not yet been reported. The device runs on Android 15.
The price of Moto G 2025 is $199.99, and sales will begin on January 30.
The Moto G Power 2025 model is similar to the basic version in many ways, but offers a little more. It uses a larger 6.8-inch display with a frequency of 120 Hz, a peak brightness of 1000 nits, and Gorilla Glass 5. The main 50-megapixel camera has optical image stabilization. In addition to the macro module, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle module is also available. The front camera has not changed and remains 16-megapixel.
The battery is also unchanged and offers a capacity of 5000 mAh. However, in addition to 30W wired charging, this model also supports 15W wireless charging. The Moto G Power 2025 is IP68 and IP69 certified for dust and water resistance, as well as MIL-STD-810H certified for resistance to drops from a height of «almost 1.2 meters», temperatures from -20°C to +60°C, and high humidity levels up to 95%. It also runs Android 15.
The Moto G Power 2025 smartphone will go on sale on February 6 for $299.99.
