NVIDIA — Lenovo’s ARM processor is looking for a device developer on a new chip

At the end of last year, information appeared about NVIDIA developing a central processor based on ARM. According to the leak, Lenovo is already looking for a developer of computers on it.

Data miners actively searched for any details about the NVIDIA processor, and it seems they finally found something. Informants Anh Phu Fu (@AnhPhuH) and WalkingCat (@_h0x0d_) discovered something interesting in the Lenovo job listings — the largest global PC manufacturer. One of the records mentions that the candidate for the position will be entrusted with “development and evolution of own HW [hardware] on the new SoC NV N1x”.

WalkingCat believes that the 16” Lenovo Yoga 2-in-1 (2025) might feature an NVIDIA processor. The researcher deduces this from Lenovo’s system of codenaming systems. It was previously reported that NVIDIA collaborates with MediaTek in chip creation. According to new data, high-end N1x and mid-range N1 (non-X) processors are based on the new Blackwell architecture of video cards and computers.

Anh Fu believes the new processors are powerful enough to achieve performance of 180-200 TOPS in artificial intelligence tasks. Other industry rumors suggest a potential launch window around the fourth quarter of this year, when about three million units will be ready. It is also reported that they are discussing TSMC’s 3 nm technology process.
