Oppo is working on another smartphone, the Oppo A5, which will have a large capacity battery. The device was spotted in photos with the model number visible. This allowed us to find it in the TENAA database.
It is worth noting that this will be the third Oppo A5 smartphone. The first version was released back in 2018. Then in 2020, the company released another version of the Oppo A5. The Oppo A series is incredibly popular in China and many other countries, covering a wide price range from ultra-cheap entry-level phones to solid mid-range models.
The new version of the Oppo A5 2025 will have a 6500 mAh battery (minimum capacity of 6330 mAh divided into two cells). There are also reports of a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution and a fingerprint scanner under the display. On the back, we will find a dual camera setup on a square island with a resolution of 50 MP + 2 MP.
The new Oppo A5 2025 is also credited with a 2.2 GHz Snapdragon 695 processor. The battery will support 45W fast wired charging. The estimated price of the device has not yet been announced. Given the characteristics, it should not be high.
