Samsung has introduced an updated Galaxy Book 5 Pro laptop based on Intel Lunar Lake processors. It can work for an impressive 25 hours without recharging.
In fact, the Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro is a more affordable brother of the Book 5 Pro 360. It does not have the 360-degree hinge that allowed the Book 5 Pro 360 to function as a transformer. The laptop is equipped with an AMOLED screen in 14 and 16 inches. The refresh rate is 120 Hz. Although the resolution was not explicitly stated, we can expect similar specifications as the Book 5 Pro 360, which had a 2.8K panel for the 16-inch variant.
Interestingly, even the processor options have not been announced, although the laptop will likely feature the same Core Ultra 7 256V chip as its transformer sibling. Samsung claims a staggering 25 hours of battery life. A four-speaker speaker system is also reported.
The new Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro laptop will go on sale in South Korea from January 2, 2025, and then a global release is expected.
