New mini-PCs from Lenovo on Snapdragon X and X Plus, ThinkCentre Neo 50q QC and IdeaCentre Mini X can be considered the first desktop PCs on the Qualcomm platform.
ThinkCentre Neo 50q QC is available with both processors, like another PC. The built-in Hexagon NPU of the senior model provides 45 TOPS. The PC has up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X memory and two M.2 SSD slots. The new ThinkCentre consumes 90 watts. However, it has its own power supply and will not receive it from Type-C — turning it into a screenless laptop using a regular power bank won’t work.

The PC has USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, and a combined 3.5 mm audio jack on the front. On the rear panel, there are two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, two USB 2.0 Type-A, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4a, and an RJ45 Ethernet port. It also has built-in Wi-Fi 6E.
Lenovo also introduced the IdeaCentre Mini X, which is approximately the same size as the ThinkCentre but designed for professionals and creatives. It will have up to 32 GB of RAM, Wi-Fi 7, and the same set of ports.

ThinkCentre Neo 50q QC will be available in February starting at $849. IdeaCentre Mini X will appear later in 2025 at a price of $659. Currently, Lenovo does not offer options with the more powerful Snapdragon X Elite.
