The Ukrainian trailer for «Werewolves» starring Marvel star Frank Grillo has been released. The film combines elements of action and horror in an apocalyptic world where people turn into werewolves.
In the world of «Werewolf», every super full moon causes a massive transformation of people into bloodthirsty werewolves. During the last such phenomenon, almost a billion people died. The protagonist Wesley, played by Frank Grillo, teams up with the military to contain the chaos and protect his niece from the dangerous lycanthropes.
The trailer shows the tense atmosphere of the movie. «Tonight, when the sun goes down, it’s every man for himself», Wesley’s friend Cody warns. Scientists are trying to find a way to block the mutation, risking the lives of their subjects.
The film was directed by Stephen Miller, known for his work on «Escape Plan 2» and «First Kill». In addition to Frank Grillo, the film stars Katrina Lo and Ilfenes Gadera.
«The Age of the Werewolves» will be released in Ukraine on December 19. The film promises to combine elements of such franchises as «Resident Evil», «Fright Night» and «Another World».
By the way, another werewolf movie is coming this winter. In January 2025, the movie «Wolf Man» directed by Lee Vonnell and starring Julia Garner and Christopher Abbott.
