Valve releases a limited edition model of the Steam Deck portable console with a new color scheme.
The white and gray Steam Deck generally duplicates characteristics of last year’s OLED modelThe new model has 1 TB of storage, HDR OLED display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz, and a 50Wh battery that can run for up to 12 hours depending on the load.
The model comes with a white case and a white microfiber cloth.
The new Steam Deck costs $679, and sales will start on November 19 at 01:00 Kyiv time. Valve notes that the limited edition gaming system can be purchased in all countries where Steam Deck is officially sold — however, it will be given to owners of Steam accounts registered before November 2024.
«To ensure that as many users as possible who want to buy the limited edition Steam Deck OLED in white can do so, only 1 device can be purchased from one account. Another condition — the account must not have any blockages, and the purchase must be made from it before the beginning of November 2024».
Valve emphasizes that since the series is limited, no more devices with this design will be produced after the full sale.
